This is July Hostess Club project. We made paper flowers and decorated our card box. The picture of the paper flowers does not do it justice. They look so much better in person. If you were not able to attend the Hostess Stamp day to make the flowers I will send out some directions. I used Stampin Up new Composition Specialty designer paper. It is so thick and is easy to work with because it does not tear. Hope you enjoy.

This is the birthday card I made for my dad's birthday. He was in the Navy when I was a baby and he loves the ocean. I used the stamp set called "The Open Sea". I just love how this card came out. It took some time but I cut out each sail and poped them up with dimensionals. I also used aqua painters to add color to the ship and water.

My next hostess stamp day is June 9th. We will be making a card from the new Hostess stamp set called Summer day. Everyone in the club will get to make this card for free just for being in the club. I have a bonus card for the club members who will attend the stamp day. We will be using the stamp set Mixed Bunch which was first featured in the mini catalog but I am pleased to announce they have carried it over to the New 2012-2013 catalog. The card also features a technique called versa shadow technique. I got the idea from Erin Gonzales who had made a beautiful scrap book page. For mother's day I had some time in my craft room. I go to play with my new set Summer Afternoon. It is a hostes Stampin Up set. I love to water color and also love dogs so I had to get this set. I used the new ink pads and I love them. They stamp clean the first time you ink them. Big differance. I was not going to replace all my old ink pads but after using them I might reconsider. Here is the card I made Mom for mother's day. I used the retiring stamp set Vintage Vogue and for the butterfly I used the Strength & Hope. That is my all time favorite butterfly. I also used the Mocha Mornign Specialty Designer Series paper. Thank you for looking
